Run4Refugees 2016
Run4Refugees 2016 raised over 8,000 pounds! £8,164.50 to be exact!!!! Over 150 people braved a chilly Saturday to attend Run4Refugees 2016 and around 100 of these ran either 5, 10 or 15 kilometers around Cannon Hill Park, raising money for refugees. It was encouraging to see so many people turn up and run - from regular runners to first timers - all willing to give up their time and effort to support refugees. The Run4Refugees team (Kate, James and Rachel) would like to publicly thank everyone who supported this event: the marshals, helpers, first aiders (fortunately not needed) and, of course, the runners!
See the 'Where did the money go page' for information on what the money raised was spent on.
